Annoyed by his youngest son’s kids tooth decay from eating sugary candy and coupled by his passion of shark conservation (hence the brand name), Ben shaped the mission for Chum: reshaping the unhealthy and artificial candy-snacking market into a healthy natural category, while giving back to the environment. He has vast experience in the FMCG world working with global brands (Coca-Cola, Heineken, Bic) in both emerging and developed markets. Most recently he was managing director of the international division of Materne S.A. (GoGoSqueez brand), a pioneer of kids healthy snacking in France and the USA.
