Erin is a registered dietitian and nutrition scientist. In her current role, she helps translate clinical science into programs that help healthcare professionals and parents to make good early child nutrition decisions. She heads up FITS to gain a better understand feeding practices in order to advance pediatric knowledge, inform policy, drive innovation, and improve dietary guidance. She has previously worked for the America’s National Dairy Council, the US Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine, the University of Connecticut’s Human Performance Laboratory and Hawley Armory Fitness and Wellness. Throughout her career she has focused on using nutrition research to improve individual and public health. She has a Masters and PhD in exercise science with a concentration on nutrition, has served on the Board of Trustees for the American College of Sports Medicine and is active in organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society for Nutrition, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Network for Executive Women.
