Maggie is the Co-founder of Bitsy’s, an organic food company on a mission to give families a smarter, happier way to snack. Prior to launching Bitsy’s, Maggie and her co-founder built one of the first successful, federally funded after-school initiatives addressing the issue of childhood obesity. This experience inspired them to advocate for a new “kid category” in grocery. Their belief in putting “kids first” drives Bitsy’s to bring “a bit more goodness” to the world as an organic, creative, nutrition-forward brand empowering kids. A mother of three, Patton built a national reputation as an expert in Positive Youth Development and Service-Learning while serving as Executive Director of GenerationOn. She has worked and partnered with numerous foundations and nonprofits and weaves her passion for doing good into building Bitsy’s as a purpose-driven company.
