Anum is an engineer working for a pharmaceutical company in South Florida. She grew up in Chicago and that’s where she calls home. She’s been married for five years and has two young kids, Amira 2 and Dan 1. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, and travel.

Betsy Ellen Ross
Betsy is an avid home cook, vegetarian for years, yoga practitioner who left the classroom to stay home with her son, Leo. She spends her free time reading cookbooks like novels and is currently honing her green thumb with a growing collection of houseplants. Leo will turn 3 in November.
Dan is a self-employed Art Director and Designer. Former touring musician, he has lived in the Chicagoland area all his life except college. He thinks that he probably eats too much ice cream. Dan has 2.5-year-old who loves cheese puffs and yogurt drinks.
Katie lives in Chicago with her husband, toddler son, two dogs, and many plants. She tries to find creative ways to make sure the family eats lots of whole foods and colors — especially now. And as a health reporter, she has seen truth in the quote from Hippocrates: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
Nikhil is the Director of Engineering at the Art Institute of Chicago as well as a facilitator, educator, and community builder. His experience planning and executing complex web projects has also brought him to work with institutions to create concrete plans around the healing and accountability from historic traumas like colonialism, slavery, genocide, and war. He’s a regular contributor at The Incluseum and is a project advisor for MASS Action. His writing has been featured in the Journal for Museum Education, Fwd: Museums, and Model View Culture. Nikhil’s kid is 5 years old and their home is free of Gluten and Dairy.
Ryan is a mom of 3, wife, attorney, writer and clean beauty consultant with Beautycounter living in Georgia. She loves to trail run, practice yoga and explore all things health and wellness. She also loves to cook and regularly experiment with new recipes, but her family doesn’t always enjoy trying my creations.
