Ali is responsible for developing and coordinating IFIC’s consumer research efforts and nutrition science-focused communication programs. She frequently speaks to a variety of audiences about IFIC's research findings and has been featured in the Washington Post, Forbes, U.S. News and Today, among others. In 2017, Ali joined IFIC from the University of Minnesota, where she worked as a clinical research dietitian. She holds a PhD in Nutrition and a BS in Nutrition Science, both from the University of Minnesota.
