In her role, Abena is building and leading the regulatory strategy to drive product and commercial efforts to ensure regulatory compliance and approval from key regulatory bodies, globally. Prior to her role at Orbillion Bio, Abena led the regulatory affairs efforts of the Cultured Meat program of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany as Associate Director - Food Regulatory Expert. She holds a master’s degree in food science, specializing in food safety microbiology from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Mount Holyoke College.

Abena will be participating in a panel discussion on Meat 2.0
